1.
I was fortunate to spend some time last week at Crater Lake, Oregon, the deepest (and bluest) lake in the U.S. First one, of a sunset, doesn't even include the lake. But keep scrolling and you'll see it...

00aq2s-497061684.jpg.d2fa952238b681775f662ced01d2f775.jpg

 2.
To Jonathan Parkhouse: That is an impressively sharp photo with the Sigma 105. Did you compare the lens with the Nikkor 105 before you purchased? My guess is that you saved a lot of money while giving up little, if any, on the performance end. Please share your thoughts. Thanks.

 4.
The light coming in the window was nice and my wife and daughter were willing to pause a couple moments, so I took this environmental portrait at the Jonathan Edwards Winery in North Stonington, Connecticut.

00aeLm-484747584.jpg.f20c813b2d15c5215ad5a8818b7e5ced.jpg

 5.
Thanks for all the sympathetic words last week concerning the loss of our 15-year-old Shih tzu. We miss him greatly but must carry on...

This image was captured at a recent youth soccer clinic in the Portland, Oregon area. The young man left no doubt who he would like to play for someday.

00abIj-481315684.jpg.c09a433bc285454db79fa93b56fb0510.jpg
