How do I define the resolution of the digital image for prints?

As I read so many wedding photographers' packages, they are always shown "

High Resolution CD/DVD" for their clients.The question is How High the PPI?

For example: one size is 6X4 and other is 8X10, all are set at 300 ppi and

send to their customers, if someone want to enlarge a picture to 24x30 or

higher, the setting at 300 ppi is same quality output?

Can anyone help me?

I have just bought a new 5D body and 17-40, and have 1 Lexar 4G 133x, San 2G &

1G II CF cards. Now, want to purchase 2 CF cards, mainly for landscapes and

portraits (ready for wedding photography).

Can anybody help me to choose the right speed cards (II or III)?

My pocket just enough to buy two F/4 L lens, I like the 24-70, but heavy, I like the 16-35, but expensive than the 17-40 (nearly 70% higher).

The cam and lens are mainly for travel photography and some part-time events jobs.

Any more advises?

Now, I have enough money to buy 5D and len, my options are:

Option 1:

1. 5D body (because this is FF)

2. 24-105 f4 IS,

3. 430 EX

Option 2:

1. 5D body

2. 17-40 f4 L

3. 24-105 f4 L

Option 3:

1. 5D

2. 17-40 f4

3. 430 EX

For long term investment for LENS, any suggestions?
