dont worry about the roll film. The roll film 120 Agfapan APX 25 is
still in production. That is at least what the wholeseller for the
Czech republic told me.

I have been usin "small format" camera (35 mm) for years and now I would like to try large format. I am thinking of 6x9 cm. I dont need autofocus camera, I dont care about the weight of the body and I dont need exposure meter built in the camera. I have an offer for old Mamiya Press Super 23 for wonderful price. The set icludes three lenses 50mm, 100mm and 150 mm. Do you have any suggestion. Should I look after any different kind of camera. Is there another way how to get relatively cheap 6x9 cm camera with those lenses?

Thank you for your help

You were right about the APX 25, it has been discontinued. What a
pity. I got some news about it and the folks from Agfa wrote me that
they have stopped producing APS 25 only for the 35mm format. The 120
film APX 25 is still in production. I have found a few shops where
they kept some 35 mm "leftovers". The reason why they stopped the
production is because it was not as used as the other kinds of film
they make. Can you compare Ilford Pan Super 50 and Agfa APX 25? Are
there any differences in the graniness.

Thanks

I have just bought some rolls of Agfapan APX 25. The only thing that I did not get was the right developer. Is it possible to develop this kind of slow film with Kodak D76 developer. Could someone suggest developing times.

I apreciate your help

Agfapan APX 100 and Rodinal
in Black & White Practice
Posted
I am still getting too contrast negatives when I am developing APX 100 in Rodina (1+50) 17 minutes (20C). I have heart that it is possible to develop APX with Rodinal diluted 1+100. Can anyone suggest time for this kind of developing? I would like to have a bit less contrast negatives with good grain.

Thanks for your suggestion
