Get a Vivitar 285 or Sunpak 544/555 and use it as a rim light. They are bright and short flash durations. It's a lot cheaper and they built like tanks so If the fall they will survive. Get a flash slave to fire them or spend the money and buy the greatest invention ever: pocket wizards.
