Wonderful dark background, perhaps the most suitable to show off this feast of colors.Everything is frozen, with very accurate exposure and WB.A part of a document about " a day in the life of nature".Well done Andrey.Regards

Nice portrait Oliver. The B&W always has its advantages, it drags the eye on the highlighten areas, showing off the main theme.I like the contrast in this photo, it's not exaggerated, keeping a softness that is necessary for such kind of potraits.Regards

Very nice portrait. It doesn't look to wear any "effect" so it's very natural, although for a portrait that is set-up by the photographer you can't say it.The exposure is very precise especially on fingers and cheeks and the tone fits perfectly, giving an old fashion style.Regards

In the foreground, abandoned, she's so unsure with all her belongings in an old suitcase waiting...for her savor, or a ship to immigration perhaps. She is not dressed in rags, a simple frock, yet elegant. The misty background could be a dock, no one can tell. She looks so familiar.Yes, life can bring, all of a sudden, everyone in the threshold of non-existence.A reminder and a wonderful photo. The eeiry lighting is the key of creating such an atmosphere.Excellent work Katerina. My best regards

I took a look into your portfolio Ofey and i found a lot of great and interesting photos(NY, Amsterdam, Italy folders). This one , technically , is nothing special, but the theme is hilarious and pretty.Regards

I like this photo.Very nice intense, not extreme contrast, very well balanced exposure and good timing. The girl's expression, rather cheerful is in great opposition to the choking environment of the factory buildings.Depending on how someone sees the future, black or white, the messages of this photo are controversial.Best regards

The almost vertical angle conbined with the soft lighting created a flat photo that tricks the eye, it's very interesting.Logically the veil of the dress should be behind the bride, as she steps down the stairs, but Carlos prefered to set it that way. Open arms, ready to take off, joyful, embracing the world.Very nice work.Regards

Excellent work Maria.Due to the nature of the environment and lighting it has very shallow DOF but this works for the benefit of the photo and increases the drama.Either despair, crying for help or aggressive mood surely this photo will not leave anyone indifferent.Best regards

I would like to see the original shot also, but since it's snowy and not bright environment it wouldn't had significant declination, except some hints of brown color on the tree log. It's a wonderful post-production, nice color selective work that turned it to a photo-drawing that just photo. The slight over-exposure fits perfectly in this case.Regards

Very exciting work Mattias. And since you ask our opinion, i would say the contrast is fine, perhaps one level up the "levels" in photoshop. This is what i prefer when it comes to nature photos.B&W is impressive in any form and theme preference, but it's illusive too, simply because we don't see in grey tones. The colors react differently in greyscale, so actually there's no strictly one rule to determine the "right" contrast.Leave this for the pros, for me right is what pleases the eyes.Regards

The environment is quite peculiar, almost post-war.The composition is excellent, the exposure and contrast are fine and the theme, indifferently if set up or real, alerts the minds.Whether by war or a natural disaster anyone of us can be forced to be a wanderer.Beautiful work Bozena. My best regards.

The numbers are incredible, there's no Earth scale for comparison. But when it comes to images it's the ABSOLUTE beauty. No technical details to talk about, no controversials.Best regards and happy the new year.

No matter what you've done on this photo, processed or a natural "one single shot" it's amazing, the light is a magical mystery tour of its own and always enchants human's eye.Great work Chris.

The photo has a remarkable exposure revealing details in every corner, with strong contrast , like if it was made up with HDR procedure.Nice work Bojan

Further and beyond this astonishing eye and the chocolate skin the rest of the photo is set on a painter's canvas making it really alive. You have my deepest admiration Bader.Regards

Brillinat work Dave. This picture surely belongs to the abstract section of Photonet but something tells me that it's not so "abstract", not one of those photos that we all occassionaly take, but it was driven by a pattern that you planned in your mind.Best regards

When i saw the thumbnail i thought it was a repeating pattern. But that was the first impression, it's quite clear that these pipelines are part of a bigger industrial plant or so.It's also similar to the much much smaller connections on a PC motherboard. The light purposely falls on the diagonal and makes it visible, waiting for the photographer. The accurate exposure preserved the mysterious sense.Very nice shot Steve.Regards

Very beautiful photo Orhan. The exposure is very precisely chosen, it gave nice contrast and caught the motion of the falling snow. The time seems stopped in this village, while the solar-heater on the roof comes to land you in real time. It's a controversial point of view, if it should be there or not, but other people live there not us, they know their needs and it's far beyond our demands for a "flawless" photo.Art is with the people, not over.Regards

Very cool.In any way.The mist strenghthens the light, looks like solid. The metering is very accurate there are no extremely over or under exposed parts in the frame. The color is nice and soft as expected.Regards
