I don't have a critique but a couple of comments.
First, Majestic!
Second I would darken the foreground considerably.

Sort of an interesting surreal concept though the image is a little too dark.

As a fellow landscape photographer I love everything about this photo. Very nice!
It strikes a mood for a place and time of day for an abstract location.
Definitely not the same old sunset at the beach shot.

Charming is the word I think of too.

Nice low key version of this scene.
I might do a little dodging and burning but not much.

Interesting piece.

Actually nothing new here, that is this was done decades ago with high contrast film, along with the "erotic" content.
Nice imaginative work though, be glad you don't have to do this in the darkroom though the high contrast lith ortho films were pretty easy to work with.

Clone or crop the white sky areas at the top of the frame and your composition will be much stronger. Also darken the lower corners just slightly. Otherwise pretty nice work.

I love it!

Excellent #7!

Really, really nice work. I don't usually give a 7 for ratings but your shot deserves it.

Very nice concept and execution. I think you should have stepped towards camera right a foot or so to get everything symmetrical but that's just a wee knit pic.

Very creative Randy! Yours is one of those photo ideas when seen I think, "I wish I had thought of that!", or more importantly, "What made that person think of that?".
Good job as they say.

I used to write graphics programs for fun to do this sort of thing. In that respect it's sort of interesting, however I don't see what this has to do with photography at all.
My rating - 0!

The shorts are short but the headlights get your attention! They are definitely on high beam.

As I frequently write, my comments aren't really a critique.
What an excellent portrait of this gentleman in the late years of his life. Without being cliched you've spoke to us about old age and his old age.
Great work!

For me these colors are too saturated. Is there some HDR'ing going on.
-
Nice color and sentiment but I think you should have cropped your subject a bit tighter. All of the space around the cutting board, especially in the foreground doesn't support the composition. It's the old photographic axiom, get close and then closer.

A-Plus work, but you knew that didn't you. Rated 7 all the way!
