This is, beyond a shadow of a doubt, one of the finest "winter is coming" shots I've seen in a long time. Sure, I could start detailing everything I love about this shot... but let's just summarize it "Grrrrreat"

I agree with the suggestion that the light reflection at the very top of the image are a distraction. I think the image would be perfect without them.
Then there would be a "Unity" surrounding the moving boat light.
Congratulations on a lovely portfolio.

Once again I find myself incapable of selecting one or two images for which to leave a comment. so, let me just say that this entire portfolio is of such superior quality that I marvel at your talent.

Thank you, Tony, for the very constructive suggestion and for the kind comments.

streight lines predominate. Nary a curve in sight...
somebody had a ruler
and I don't mean the Queen.

not at all "hilarious"
-
well spotted and well shot.

I was told that Nessy, can adapt to any form, water or land...
judging by the wide mouth I surmise that this is Nessy on land, disguised as a Scot.

what did you do with his buddy?...or is this one of these trick gates where the guard is here...no there...no here again....g.d.it I wish he'd stay in one place.

What a lovely shot. The second, older lad shows his independance by walking on his own. The large step made by the young lad, to keep abreast of his dad is indicative of his desire to be like dad....
lovely street photography...

Knowing the Dutch as I do, I would have thought that they keep their bikes in a little better condition than illustrated herein....

I can't leave a comment on each and every one of your images... so let me just say: Your portfolio is wonderful in all respects.

Many years ago, if one wanted to say that something was truly special, one said: This is the bee's knees...
that's what this is: truly special

This would be a 7 in my book, if the female of this couple were depicted entirely and not truncated.
The colours are beautiful, I particularly like the upper half of the picture. The male is beautifully reflected and the light in his eye shows the focus as spot on.
Congrats, Bert
