1. have a problem with Lightroom that is similar. As soon as I connect one of my Sandisk?s they immediately Lightroom opens and the import dialog starts up. That is not what I prefer as I am not always in need of opening ID photos with Lightroom. Is there a way in preferences perhaps to stop that from happening. I also have the EOS utility that starts up at the same time.
2. What about all the space required on my hard disk drive, which is taken up, and the responsibility of the originals? Yesterday the mother of a child I photographed at a baptism, asked for the originals, both images and cassette from the video, I replayed positively at an instant.(saying I could charge 10 euros only for the tape) finding this discussion proves my hesitation that followed. The normal fee for a baptism in Greece starts from 250-300 ? where 100 goes to the cameraman. The prices can reach an amount of say 800 ?.

When the mother asked for the tape my first response was that the originals are pneumatic rights of the photographer, her response was that an other photographer in the area had freely given them the tape from their wedding. (Could be a lie) You have convinced me to charge extra, but still there is the chance of a unsatisfied customer that will be talking bad of me in a small area.

3. I just bought the Hensel 500 Pro Plus, I intend to use them with my Canon 400D,

the Rebel. I will also mount on the 580EX. I was thinking on lowering its power

to 1/3 of a stop. I am shooting a baptism the coming Sunday. The problem is that

the package in which the Hensel flashes I was given didn't include a manual. I

downloaded one from Hensel's homepage, I can't understand much of it. is there a

web page perhaps where there is a more thorough explanation on its buttons etc.

etc....?

thanks

4. I use the Canon 400D xti "rebel" =, I also use the lens that came with it when

buying it. I also use a flash, the 380ex, when shooting with it, on manual, ISO

400 or even 1600, on manual, and a speed of 100, I seem to get dark images. I

can't locate the cause for my problem, the manual says that the Canon 400D is

compatible with all EX flashes. Perhaps it is the lens that doesn't do the job,

(f:3.5/4) but then again shouldn't the flash compensate. I get good light up two

3 to 5 meters, but then the hole image appear to get all ?dull?. The image I

attached has been brightened in the background, using PS.

Anybody a hint ?

Thank you.

5. Thank you Ellis, One question more though. If I buy these transmitters, will they work with the Elinchroms that I wish to purchase next year?

(I hear that Elinchrom will have a new line of monolights with built in receivers) Will the Hensels and the Elinchroms light up at the same time.

6. I have recently bought Hensel's Expert 500 pro plus, monolights,

two of them, I wish to add two Elinchroms (1200w) for the next year. Would any

pocket wizard that I will buy, work with all the strobes, even if they are of

different brands, I will be using them simultaneously.
