Wonderful portrait!

Excellent capture. I'm wondering how much you had to pull the shadows up in post to show the underside of the bird. I can't get the EXIF. It looks like an overcast day, but maybe you are getting some reflection from water to help with this. I love what can be done with the D3. BTW I would patch the pixel at the bottom middle right.

Beautiful Light. Nice composition.

The detail in the shadows of this image and your Mt Kerkeslin shot is very well done and suggests some sort of grad filter. I guess I will have to look into them if I plan on doing any serious landscape work.

I'm not generally a fan of nudes for no particular reason, but this is a very nice image. Wonderful focus on the eyes and lips and great DOF. I just wish her nails were done.

Fantastic work. Are you using a split ND filter for your landscapes?

Wonderful image. the depth of field is great with good focus. I know what you mean about not being still. He is looking at his next adventure of the moment. I have a small gallery with a few dog portraits. You should check them out.

Viewed larger I would prefer the eyes to be more in focus, but the colors and contrast are stunning. well done.
