  1. What a phenomenal portrait. Very strong statement. I love the composition. Also your postwork is just famtastic, I really like how your black and white came out, very rich and punchy.

    Really nice indeed.

It never fails. Every time I see one of your images you got a wow from me and this for sure is not the exception. I love the image as a whole, from the colors composition and mimicking the sky was a brilliant idea.

Very nice work. That is youth at it's best and you did a great job capturing the moment.

I like the black and white post work as well

  2. Very well done, the lighting is very pleasant so is the composition.  I can see the green knife being a bit distracting, may be a regular one would have blended better into the image.

    Yet again great shot.

Dolf that is funny. I have done quite a few self portraits but I don't think I can do 100 days of day portraits and remain creative with fresh ideas. I do have an idea going on but it will take some multiple shots and work that I'm not to used to. Good as a challenge though.

Hi Peter. Nice capture you have here. I like the image very much but I can't put my finger on what is it that I like it for (go figure). Nice work with your black and white work.

    Congrats

Gordon. What a fabulous image you got.The exposure is just perfect  I can see details all over the image. I guess what I appreciate the most aside from the technical aspects is the black and whit process. I has great tonal range and contrast. I bet this image looks awesome in paper.

If I may be picky, the leaf on the back seems a bit distracting to me. As a photographer I understand that we have to deal with certain things that are in the frame and some times there is no way around it. With or without the leave I still love the image.

I'm curious to know if this is the only frame of it, or if you tried a landscape shot from a higher angle?

    Regards

Alf I would not call it heavy handed, is it dark? yes, but it does the job very well and it does not clash with the ground at all. I love the crisp details and the saturated colors.

Just another fantastic image from you.

Hola Alberto. Que buenos los colores te quedaron super bien y saturados. Verguenza la mia que viviendo tan cerca de Los Angeles no tenga ninguna foto.

Bien dicen que en casa de herrero cuchillo de palo.

Very nice indeed. I really like what you did here. If anything the wall to the right seems too bright for me, aside from that I love the image.

It might sound silly but one thing I particularly like on the image is that she is holding that cell phone. It's like she is just having a casual talk out in the streets in sexy underwear.

    Fantastic shot and gorgeous model,

    Regards,

The picture is great, and the title is just perfect. You sure did a fine job with the composition, seems like you even got low to take it as supposed of just snapping a picture while walking by.

    Congrats

  3. Thanks for your comments and critiques.

This might be a common thing in a place like Vegas, certainly not

something I get to see often. Whatever prompts someone to walk around

like that it's beyond me but... Who am I to judge? I'm glad I was

    there with the camera though.

What a beautiful place that is. The lighting is just wonderful, nice and warm and the composition is just fantastic.

It deserves a place on a wall.

    Congrats

  4. Michael. Thanks for your comment. I'm glad that you liked the picture. It was fun doing it and it is quite simple. I wrote some tips as to how it's done here  http://alexephotos.wordpress.com/2009/12/20/photo-of-the-day-photoshop-layers-multiple-personality/  go to that link and then let me know if you need more help with it. I'm sure between you and grandpa Jorge you can come up with something pretty cool.

PS: don't forget to show me the picture once you are done with it.

  5. Jorge, sin duda la foto que pusiste se me have la mejor. La expresion esta muy bonita como el resto de la imagen.

Dejame saver adonde botar y ahi paro para darte mi voto. No el de castidad LOL

    Saludos
