Brian,
This is an interesting concept, here's a few things that I'd try. Move your lighting so that her legs are not overexposed. It's hard to see her face and the difference between the two is distracting. I'd also try some sort of diffusion on the light to make it more even.
Cheers

Tana,
Overall a very nice shot. I would have moved the framing a bit further over so that her spine was right along the edge of the picture. I also might have tried draping her hair down her back instead of around her neck, or at least made sure it was combed and neat looking.

Great work with the shadows. This is a perfect example of the 'less is more' concept.

Interesting lighting and great depth of field. There is a lot going on the shot and it holds your attention for a while. Good work.

Awesome!

Really nice shot. I like this whole series.

Very good work. You don't need a lot of fancy equipment to make great pictures. One or two lights, a few large pieces of black and white felt and a good model will take you very far. Have fun experimenting and only add equipment when you find a specific need.
I'd love to see more from this series.

Less is more. Nice job!

Interesting pose and I like the expression on her face. Everything except her face seems just a touch out of focus. Maybe this is intentional but I find it a bit distracting.

Wow. I was trying to get a shot like this during my last sitting but I could not make it work. You did much better than I did. Bravo!

If shallow DOF was your goal I'd go a bit more extreme with it. It's a great shot either way. Lighting, pose, composition are all very well done. Cheers!

Looks like you are learning fast :) Bodyscapes are a great way to play with light.

Very dramatic shot. Lighting and pose are perfect.

Great shape and tone. Bodyscapes are my favorite. Bravo!

Thanks for the comments! I did try to get her further from the backdrop but limitations of space and equipment did not allow it. My kingdom for a studio! :)

Great work. The expression on her face is priceless. Keep it up!

Great lighting and beautiful subject. Everything a figure study should be.

Thanks for the comment. It was a great sitting and we had a lot of fun making the shots together.
