I have mine since 6 months and i have over 2000 shots taken and i never turn that cleaner on yet,have no dust yet to but if i need it, well its there.

The Pentax DA 50-200 is a great lens and affordable better than the sigma in the same range,if you have a bigger budget,you can get a faster lens with Sigma.

I think your wright,I just see the upgrade to,you need the disc,may be if you surf the net you can get the download,not sure,but if you want playing with raw,I suggest photoshop element 6 with the new version for raw image,i have the CS3 and I'm pretty sure its the same program for the raw,I never use the photo lab for raw image,I prefer photoshop,its my opinion.You can get the photoshop element 6 for around 100.00$.

I suggest 50mm 1.4,this is a fast lens,clean and sharp,its a multi purpose lens,,,,my opinion

Once in a while Jacques,we have weird problem like that and its not only pentax,nikon and canon to, and etc,I call that ,,,,,free game,,,,,to fix that,do a reset and 95% they fix the problem or remove the battery for 5 second and re install,,,,try it.

Hi guy's,just came back from photographic show in Ottawa (ontario Canada)was

great,everybody was there,Nikon,Canon,Pentax,Sigma,Tamron,Sony and many more.You

can see and try all the newbie's from all the company,so I had in my hand the

D300,D3,Mark 3,of course the Pentax stand,all the new lens (want all of them

lolll)new Pentax product for 2008 comming,for shure 2 new bodies, new

lens,70-200 2.8,300 4.0 and more,that's what the rep said but I have no idea

wich one,was surprise for the Canon stand,not lot of people,Pentax and Nikon was

full,Sigma to.I had in my hand the new 40D Canon,good camera I guess but what a

cheap body (unbeleivable)was surprise.Anyway had a great afternoon over there

and don't worry guy's like I said,Pentax stand was full of people trying the

K10d,K100D super,all the lens,all positive comments about the Pentax gears.Talk

with the salemans I know from Henry's photo and all the K10D,D200 sold out for

the week-end no more in the store so Paul Dore, Pentax rep was very happy about

the sales.So that's it guy's,see you soon.

I'm using wireless flash but I have 540's flash and work's great but for sigma,I don't think its compatible,may be i'm wrong but if you want somethings work perfectly,better use dedicated flash.

Rose,you have now a very nice and good lens,congrats,if you want change your lightning system,easy and nice uniform light,try a gary phong light sphere,I have one and you'l love it but you need a rotating flash,I don't know what you have,,,,get the clear one,,,

Alexander,sometimes peoples like to share with other person somethings they get for what ever the reason about photography,picture or equipement.Hin is happy for what he get and its OK,he just want to share with us,once in a while,i have no problem with that,may be its not OK for you,its wrong,not a good post,i have no idea so just pass over and that's it,its not necessary to make a negative comment.

I agree with you Jochen,the Pro is behind the view finder,what ever the camera is using,the job is done and the customer is happy.Be a Pro for the way you shoot not for the brand you have around the neck.

Hi guy's here in Quebec,Montreal,all the pro I saw in fashion or jounalist,75 per cent use top of the line Canon and the rest use top of the line Nikon,rare I saw 20d,30d,d100,d200 in Pro hand's.One day ,I ask the question to 4 guy's cover an event with using mark 2,,,why you are not using nikon,,,,they said,in digital nikon have to much noise compare to Canon its very bad and they left.I think the Pro's choose a brand and they adopt the product like here its canon,wedding its hassleblad,studio is mamiya 67 pro but can you tell me canon or nikon produce better image compare to pentax or hasselblad produce better image compare to bronica,I don't think so,of course its good gears but they just adopt a brand may be 40 years ago and they continue to use it like bikers its harley davidson,they choose a brand to associate the look.May be I'm wrong but look's that the way it is.

I just bought a Pentax P30T with 28-80 manual lens for 75.00$,I don't need auto focus for a film camera,like you Hin,want to do black and white and color if I feel like.Will be enough for me,I have the K10D,DA lens,of course DA don't fit but I have 3 more auto focus film lens,those will fit on the P30T so gone a be perfect for second body.

You need extension cord F5P 40.00$,flash shoe 40.00$ and camera shoe 70.00$,may be the price could be less,its aprox.

No No NO guy's its Pentax,they bought nikon and canon,the deal is, buy a D3 and get the mark 3 free.

Hi guy's just read below,of course a new Pentax comming soon but I don't think

the reason is because they remove the K100D,its normal,watch this,every 2 years

or aprox,what ever the brand,they introduce new body,new technology,faster

focus,new sensor,new this and that but what I like about Pentax,its affordable

when they introduce new body,may be K1,I have no idea but if you want,you can by

it,don't cost a leg and if they get something new after,you can upgrade like the

K10D firmware 1.0 to 1.30.Try that with nikon or canon,sorry you have to buy the

new body,no upgrade possible.The Nikon D3 is comming around 6000.00$,not out

yet,nikon tech working now on the D3X,comming out spring 2009,talk with nikon

rep this week-end because they want add somethings new and its to late to put in

on the D3,so you have to buy the new D3X if you want upgrade,,another

6000.00$,its crazy and canon its the same to.We always want the last

technology,more pixels,more this and that and its normal to because we love

photography,we always searching for more performance,perfection and I think

Pentax know that so we have the possibility to get the new technology at

reasonable price but don't try that with Nikon or Canon,all they want its more

money from us,,,well its my opinion.

yes Dana,its made by Link Delight on ebay accessories,you can program the remote.

I have the 16-50 2.8 pentax,super lens,clean,sharp,i use this lens for weddings,commercial works,well its my working lens,for travel i never use this lens,never know what happen,its not a cheap lens.When i travel,i like a lens with the wide to tele,that's what you need,just one lens with you, not a full bag,you don't have the time,i have the 28-200 tamron XR,nice lens,very good result so any lens in that range will be perfect,could be a Pentax,Sigma or Tamron what ever but if you love landscape may not wide enough,get wider,28 its enough wider for me for travel..............Michel,si tu peux te permettre la 16-50 de Pentax,n'hesite pas,tu vas aimer cette lentille,oui elle est dispendieuse mais elle en vaut le coup,je ne regrette pas la mienne.

Jarrod,the reset seting suppose to be in your book,i have the K10D so may be its not the same procedure for reseting the camera,i have no idea,but after the reset if its the same,well, send out for repair.

I don't know what is the problem but i don't think so dark picture is due to the 1.30 firmware,I upgrade with the 1.30 and my picture are the same,its still exposure OK.
