When using Camera RAW to adjust RAW files and store it in DVDs, is
it better tostore the adjustments in the normal database or in XMP
sidecars files? Can?t figure out...

I do have the T3. A wonderful piece.I also own good Canon glass like the 70-200 2.8L and the 50 1.4. That litlle 35mm glass in the T3 outperform them both. Amazing qualitie. No complains for the size, built and image quality. Remember it's a point-shot with extra features and you'll have no complains too...

I had a 75-300 and now own a 700-200 L. Sold the former without ever looking back...
A 28-135 IS may be a nice only lens for you, though it looses the wide side...

So I finnaly maneged to put my hands on the Canon SLR digitals...I'm
considering going from my present combo (Provia 100+ Coolscan 4000)
to the 10d so I had to check for my self. The photos are here
www.andrevallejo.net ,justo follow the "Dicas e Testes" link. In
general very good image from the cameras. Only bad surprise was the
extreme noise with the 10d when using ISO 400 and over under bright
sun light. Just check the photos of the worker in the open space
(filename has the shooting data) and tell me what you think about
it...What could be wrong?

Well ,the M7 is on the street, and it uses film...
Be careful when talking about digital with Leica users, they tend to go mad about it,specially those who only shoot BW ! (!-)

Thanks all for the answers, they are extremely useful in helping me to set it up...know I'm also thinking about hiking in the Huarascan National Park,in the North...will see!

When thinking about a trip in August in South America,to photograph
what I like the most, people, the first country that comes to my mind
is Peru, as the people has such a strong etnic appearence. But one
of the worst thing in doing such trips is when you go to places
where the locals live on turism, so when you pull out a camera, you
are surrounded by lots of people asking for money;all the naturality
is gone. I'd like to hear experiences from you peolpe who have been
there about it. Are Cuzco and Machu Pichu the places to go,or any
other good spots?
Thanks,
André Vallejo (from Brazil)

...is that I can´t find a way to update "My equipmment"...I can fill
the form, but all I get after hiting the button is a server error
message, and it has been like this for months...any hints? Got no
answer from the webmaster...

Just received my T3,and still making contact with it. One thing gave
me doubts:
I've adjusted CF 1,2&5 to B. When I use the AFL button, the small
light blinks slowly,as expected, but when I press the shutter it
still moves the lens before shooting. Shouldn´t the lens be already
at position?
Thanks,
André
PS:The camera REALLY looks like a little jewel...maybe that´s why
the price tag! (8-)

Canon does not have a medium format body, right? So is it possible
that there's an adapter that allow me to use my Canon L lenses (70-
200 , 17-35)on any medium format body? If so,which one?
