Hello,,,
This scene has a lot of potential...! I'd like to see it a little darker ,,,, just a tad over exposed in the foreground " for my taste".. I realize the stones are white and reflect more light but....

I had a gentleman stop and talk which distracted me somewhat and I
ended up shifting the lens the wrong way but,,,, I liked it anyway..
Tell me what this reminds you of.. :)

Capital building in Springfield Illinois at twilight..
If you are ever given the chance you should visit this town for all it 's
photographic posibilities if nothing else..!
Myself,, I'm a big history freak now for some reason and this town is full
of history..
Comments welcome

I think a vista shot like this needs all it parts in sharp focus to be acceptable.. I realize the flowers are the main subject but even those get out of focus tward the back end... I suggest using a small aperture and apply the use of the hyper focal distance for your chosen lens..

Hello guys and gals,,
It does my heart good to hear from so many of you ...!
I composed this on a 4x5" camera and I didn't manage to get the cross on main spire in frame... I may have to clone out the cross all together because I too see it as a major distraction...
I measured light falling on the subject by means of an incident meter to keep some detail in the whites..

Hi Amir,,,
Thank you,,, I have seen your work and I am flattered to have you notice mine..
This was a special place and I wish I would have stayed longer because, sadly I may never get the chance to return..
I'm not a big filter person but I know a scene like this warrents the use of a NDG or "two" ;)
Best Regards
Steve
