As much as I'd love to accept the comments about it being an original approach I should probably point out that I pretty much got the idea from the works of David Hockney (amongst others).

It's a really fun way of working though. I used to do it years ago with film and, having just started to get into digital (and get back into photography in general), it's fascinating doing it with digital.

While walking round my village one afternoon I watched as this

combination of lines converged and I just had to capture it.

This was an image that I just stumbled on and which said something to

me about how parts of the English countryside are off limits. I've

walked past this spot many times and never noticed the shot before,

but this time the light was "just so" and it really caught my eye.
