Beautifully composed image that explores two stories. I wish that the person into the distance was not there, spoiling the view and the line somewhat, but otherwise great.

Personally I rather like this.

If you are really looking for critique, perhaps the head is at a very slight angle and the lighting to the right is slightly darker. Skinwork is nice and natural. For me personally, this sort of slight tilt works when less of the neckline can be seen or when backed up a little.

Why am I saying this, well, I used to shoot like you have, however, my commercial clients now seem to want that Peter Hurley look of very bright all over headshots that are very tightly cropped.

Some of the models you shoot are just so classically pretty. This is such a case. Lovely flattering capture, lots of expression on her face and eyes.

Maybe, the desaturation would work better of you could tone down the highlights. There is an animated feel to images otherwise. This look definitely works for nightclub or party images when one is working under different conditions but perhaps not the sort of setting you have above.

The lighting almost lifts the image to a 3d feel.

Context and tonality all in one, I particularly like seeing that distant passersby in the backdrop.

Complex lighting conditions with the light being trapped on those buildings. I am not sure if you are a fan of HDR, if you were, this sort of images are well worth the HDR treatment.

This is just beautiful. I am so used to seeing you as the master of nudes, but this shows that the beauty headshot is equally masterful when you are behind the camera.
