    Personally I rather like this.

If you are really looking for critique, perhaps the head is at a very slight angle and the lighting to the right is slightly darker. Skinwork is nice and natural. For me personally, this sort of slight tilt works when less of the neckline can be seen or when backed up a little.

Why am I saying this, well, I used to shoot like you have, however, my commercial clients now seem to want that Peter Hurley look of very bright all over headshots that are very tightly cropped.

  1. Maybe, the desaturation would work better of you could tone down the highlights. There is an animated feel to images otherwise. This look definitely works for nightclub or party images when one is working under different conditions but perhaps not the sort of setting you have above.

As I keep on saying, I love your use of light. There is such a pleasing softness to all the portraits. It ios sort of glamour in a candid mode.

Lovely composition indeed. I know they say a good portrait is about seeing both eyes but in this case, I rather like the other eye beings obscured.

I do like your creative effort and the composition but it is somewhat ruined for me personally by having the watermark right in the centre of the picture.

This is just beautiful. I am so used to seeing you as the master of nudes, but this shows that the beauty headshot is equally masterful when you are behind the camera.
