Well done! Perfect composition. I'm speechless, so I'll just stop here.

Great subject. I find myself wishing for a different angle on the church though; maybe a little more of a side view, or a better view of the bell tower?
Great photo.

Great photo. Tons of depth, nice sky, good saturation. I wonder what nature could do to make that stream look a little more interesting?? -BK

Great shot! I was looking at the photo of the week gallery index and was immediately caught by this photo. *Real* photos impress me much more than digitally created ones, so I think your photo here is a fine piece of work. -BK

Agreed. I really like the lighting. Makes we want to learn B&W photography. -BK

My records indicate that I didn't use a filter. Amazing huh? -BK

Great photo. This deserves to be framed and put on your wall. Who needs Mr. Adams?

I snapped this while walking by on my way to the train station. It'son the edge of the town (the developed part at least). No fancycamera since I wasn't interested in photography back then.
Just curious, how would you improve it? Would you?
-
I agree with Brian. Less depth and this would be a perfect photo. Beautiful otherwise.
-
Most people probably wouldn't know if the footprints were coming or going...
-
I think a higher angle would be better. This would allow us to see the walkway reach out into the horizon. Otherwise, I think it's a fine photograph.

This photo has great appeal in the colors. Good thing those islands are out there or it would be too plain.
-
Interesting subject matter. I give you high marks for being original. It doesn't really appeal to me though. Maybe we should call it "modern art" which I also don't usually like.
-
Great composition, timing. I prefer a little more light for photos like this, but that doesn't seem to be your style. I really like it.
-
Nice composition. I really like snow! There's some sunflare on the mountains though; which in this case probably wasn't you intent.
-
Next time I'm in front of a scanner, I'll scan the one without the automobile. Thanks for taking the time to rate my photo.
-
Great use of shallow focus (although you probably didn't have much choice) to focus the eye on your subject. Super shot!

I agree with Eric. The weed is enough. At this distance and with this lighting, the totem doesn't contribute much.
-
Nice composition. How did you get the high elevation? A hill?
-
Nice context. I always shy away from taking photos in cemeteries; despite that, this is a really neat photo. Couldn't put it on my wall though... Could be the calibration on my computer, but I think it could be a bit brighter.

Something makes me want to read the tires...

Yes, I think the horizon needs to be lowered. Clouds are wonderful, aren't they?! Excellent color. Did you take more than one photo?
-
Nice closeup, but I *must* know what's on the hat! It says "Cal" doesn't it? Anyway, looks like the polarizer helped you with the color, it's great.

Super shot. Good composition with the curve of the mountain. This is a good reminder to all of us why it is good to get up early.
Notre Dame and a falling star.
