  1. I'm looking to buy an iBook G3 to use for just editing and storing photos because my PC is getting too filled. Will a

G3 support Digital Photo Professional? I honestly like using it more than Adobe products. Also, what is the earliest

version of Adobe photoshop that will allow me to edit RAW files?

    Thanks

  2. I have been doing research on the Tokina 19-35 3.5-4.5 and I have been getting mixed reviews saying that there are

two different versions of the lens. There are both good and bad reviews for the plastic and metal versions, but most

say that the metal version is no good. Does anyone have this lens or insight into the performance of either version?

Does "plastic fantastic" ring a bell?

I am only looking into this because I can't afford any of the L series lenses but still need something cheap while I'm

    saving money.

Not sure if this is the right forum, sorry..

  3. I have been reading through other threads online and have gotten the impression

that IS may have a negative effect on a shot if the camera is on a tripod as

well as drain a battery much faster.

If the IS is turned off while I am using the camera on a tripod, will I still

    be having issues?

  4. another question I have about the 28-135 or any IS lens, if you guys don't mind...

  5. I've been using a sigma 70-200 2.8 lense on my xti and I was wondering if I

should worry about using the lense without a monopod or a tripod. is there a

good chance that the lens' weight might rip out the chassis? the lense weighs

    about 3 lbs.
