  1. Hi everyone.

I'm asking you suggestions about a good and possibly lightweight tripod for my

slr rolleiflex 6006.I'd need a tripod to prevent vibrations, shooting

landscapes and city scapes with 50 distagon on my rollei,100 iso slides.I

would take my equipment during city tours walking around,so I'd need an as

light as possible tripod ,that anyway ensures no vibrations.

    I was thinking about a Manfrotto 190 with 804rc head,I don't know the

corrispective model u.s. Bogen. Is it too light to prevent vibrations? There's

also the Manfrotto 055 with same head, but quiet heavyer. Can you suggest me a

    good one?

I'd need also to know what you think about shooting with rollei 6006 without

    tripod,sunny day at bright hours.

Thank you very much, have a nice day.

  2. Hi everyone.

I'm new in the forum, and this is my first question.

I love to travel and to have captures of differt styles,in relation to the

different subjects.I use rolleiflex 6006 6x6 camera to take landscapes and

buildings slides.Nikon f90 + several objectives for general use and

    portraiture.

I'd love a lot to take some street candid shots, but I feel my f90 is too

obstrusive and loud, even if I love the performance of the 50 1.8 and 28 2.8

    ais objectives.

I'm tryng since 1 month a nice konica auto s3 in order to take street

candids, and I love it a lot for its pocketable size mostly. But it seems not to

produce as sharp and contrasty pics as my nikon system.

I ask you suggestions about a small and pocketable camera, with a great

objective (of the same league of ais nikkors).I don't need many features,I

just need metering ad depth of field control (by shutter or diaphragm

settings). If it's totally manual would be really great. The important is that

the camere must not be full auto exposure, and if auto exposure ,I'd need

aperture priority or shutter priority an AE lock.I need also manual focus.

I was thinking about a Nikon fe10 or fm 10.They mount ais nikkors, but these

cameras are too large. The leica system is too lage too and, first of all,too

expansive for me.I had contax t2 for 3 months.Wonderful objective and small

camera. But I can't live without focus indications in the viewfinder.

Any kind suggestion will be appreciated.

    Thanks,bye
