  1. I would say abstraction lies in the way that you represent your subject.

when the subject is taken completely out of context so you dont really have a clear idea of what you are in fact looking at. Paul Strand's modernist photography exhibits this well.

  2. Hello all.

Heres the scenario. I bought a used pentax spotmeter about 3-4 months ago off

Ebay. It came in near perfect condition with the leather case et all. No

batteries but that was easily solved. So its working great and im metering like

a pro then suddenly about a week and a half ago it completely stops working.

Changed the batteries, still no response. The needle will not move from its

position on the far right of the viewfinder. It remains on its small circle no

matter what i do. I pressed the B battery check and still no response. The

strangest part is that the light for low light readings still works... Does

anyone have any clue what could possibly be the culprit? Or know a good repair

    service (if possible at all).

    Thanks in advance.

  3. Hello.

I have been using a portable hard drive to store my work. I usually edit at home, in windows, then save

the tiffs to be printed at school later. The computer system at school is Mac based and I have had troble

saving any files to the drive while using macs. I have also read that they do not like NTFS file systems,

so am I forced to backup my drive then format as something else (fat32?). Thanks for your help.

  4. im pretty sure the battery only powers the light meter. if all your exposures are 1 second i

would say thats a bigger problem than the battery, might want to get it checkd out. there

is a guy eric i believe his name is and i think his email pentax27@aol.com.
