One more question. Can anyone point out some shops/labs in Munich which will develop 120 or 35 mm black and white film at a reasonable price?

Thanks Uli.
You give me hope. :)

Thanks Stuart.
This will be my first time to Germany and well I thought good old cameras would be better and cheaper there than in the US.... But I guess with the internet and ebay it is same everywhere...

Hi,
Does anyone know of good shops in Munich where I can go treasure hunting for
old forgotten cameras?
Thanks,
Rishi.

Hello, I just tried this with old kodak vps film in patterson E-6 kit. Here is the result from negative scan with some contrast increase in photoshop.

I also tried newer porta 160vc. Results are almost same with same blue overall tone but a little less contrast. I think a 2-3 stops push should be somewhat better, after seeing other posts, but I don't know if the blue tone can be taken care of with some filters. Other colors are present but are masked by the very strong blue tone.

Thanks all.
These shops however seem costly at least for black and white paper compared to Adorama or B&H. Is there one which is as cheap as them ?

Thanks Rick. Is there a way to transfer this thread from here to there ?

Thanks Matthew.
Making a hole/slit with a nail/metal piece/hammer seems to be difficult. I tried doing that but there is not enough space to strike a small hammer and plastic is very tough.
A drill might be a good idea. Let me see if I can find a small enough drill. Will normal hardware stores have it ?

Hi,
There is no toy camera forum so I think I will ask it here.
The little plasitc thing beneath the winding knob that goes into the spool broke
( the round thing is intact (over which the rectangular thing that engages the
spool sits ).
So now I can't wind the film.
The plastic is very hard to it seems difficult to drive some metal replacement
into it. Any ideas on how to repair it / make it work would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Rishi.

Jean-Louis,
Thanks for the information. I have the first version without any ASA or other options. I think it was bought in 1971. Please send me the manual for the first version.

Hi,
I just bought a SL66 and it came with a polaroid back. Can anyone tell me
what size polaroid film does it use ? After a little search on the net it seems
that 3.25" X 4.25" pack film (Polaroid 667/672 etc ) is the one to use but I
will appreciate if someone can confirm this. Also does anyone have a
manual/instructions for using the back ?
Thanks,
Rishi.

Thanks Marc.
I don't want any prints. Those I will do myself when I get back. Just want to develop the films so that they don't pass through x-ray too many times.
