There are several HDR conversion programs that will use a RAW file and convert to HDR. One of which is "Dynamic HDR".

Keep your squeegees clean but if you must print them there is or was a liquid called "Edwall No Scratch" I even use it on old negatives and transparencies before I scan them.

I think that over a period of time ie. in years, if the fixer left the slightest unseen residue you will get bleaching. Concentrated or not the fixer should be removed by archival washing and or fixer remover.

No matter how you look at it an IR filter acts like a very dense red filter and unless the emulsion is balanced to be sensitive in the infra red region it will act as if were exposed to plain red filter. A wratten 25A normally exposed will probably give the same results as very long exposure with a an IR filter on panchromatic film.

On my monitor It is much too dark.
You might also try an HDR program that will work on a Raw file.
