<p>Interesting. Why wouldn't the tt1 force the camera into auto fp? I did another test dialing the packs up with the tt1 and got up to 1/500. Ill try this. kind of an annoying rig with a speedlight and a wizard. Probably have to tuck both into a thick black sock. Will update with results. thx</p>

<p>michael- thats the idea, but with the pack at minimum power. I'm looking to see if someone has tested the pw tt1 with the pro 8a. I downloaded the latest pw firmware, but my test with the pro 7a failed. I think it's the pack, not the tt1. The idea is to use a bi-tube head to accommodate two shooters simultaneously firing at a high shutter speed, mixing strobe and ambient with no curtaining.</p>

<p>There's a variety of reasons having to do with freezing motion in mixed light without ghosting. Have you tested pro 8s with pw mini tt1?</p>

I'm trying to achieve a 1/000s flash sync using profoto 8a packs with a pocket wizard tt1 on the hot shoe of a Nikon d800e. Has anyone tried this before? Suggestions on how to make this work would be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Matt
