This is definitely a beautiful shot, but the first thing I noticed was that the sun had a lower brightness level than the reflections of the sun. It doesn't look natural. The sun's rgb values are about 212, 208, 197. The reflection's rgb numbers are much higher. The highest values I could find in the reflections with my cursor are 255, 236, 230.
I think that the sun should be the brightest thing in the photo. And the specular highlights in the clouds should be as high as the reflections in the water.
Sorry to be the only negative comment, but it's constructive criticism that you were looking for right?
I hesitate to comment because I'm not a member, and I don't have a portfolio posted to receive comments on my work. I photograph artwork for artists with my Sinar 4x5 and a Betterlight scan back. I don't really have a portfolio to share.
