This is an incredible picture, thanks so much for posting it. To think that the sun light on their faces is 50 years old is a bit unreal, the photo has certainly lasted. Emily

I really like this picture, particularly because all that really lets you know that this isn't a documentary photo from the 50's is the style of the graffiti, I think it adds a layer. Nice!--Emily

I think an apology is in order. For me there was something about the smiling cut-out figure so incongruously placed on top of what looks like a Japanese temple roof that was so delightfully out of place. Very sorry--Emily

I think I'm familiar with this place--and its never looked so good!--Emily

There are a lot of great things about this picture, all those wet arms and legs in different tones of gold and brown, their slick wet hair. The 2 expressions I can see most clearly are also interesting. I find myself wanting to know what I'm seeing--it looks as though they're scaling a wall! emily

I suppose you're right, when I copied your picture onto my computer and tinkered with it, I couldn't pull out more detail. I think however, it's a lovely picture none the less. With nature pictures, if it makes you want to go there, its a strong indication that it's a successful picture. --Emily

This gives me a feeling of vertigo just looking at it--nicely done!!!--Emily

There are a lot of nice things about this picture--I love the colors, that the image is framed by trees, and that the central buffalo is looking sweetly (I'm hoping) our way, as are a lot of his companions. I find myself wishing that the resolution on my computer were a bit better so I could see more of their faces.-- Emily

So full of feeling and evocative! Nice work! emily

I have no ready suggestions for improving this picture, but if you don't mind, I've saved a copy because I think its gorgeous.--emily

It looks as though the clouds are the lost branches of the tree--very beautiful and indeed magical--emily

I wonder if some bit of the right hand edge can be cropped off. The picture I'm looking at is small enough that I can't make out some of the details, but it looks to me, on my screen, that there isn't much going on on the right that needs to be there. I wonder if you can resend it a bigger size so I can see the picture a bit better, details and all--emily

Absolutely, wonderfully hilarious! Thanks for making me laugh!--emily

I like this picture a lot, however, I find myself wanting something to be a bit different, but I'm hardly sure if I know what it is. It could be the color tone and/or the fact that dynamic tension is not as prominent as it could be because there is almost too much balance, i.e. his middle finger is in the middle of the image and his nails go straight up the center. On my computer the little fingers disappear into darkness, I wonder how it would look if they were brought out a bit more. Anyhow, keep in mind that I'm only seeing it through my computer. Nice work! --emily

I smile looking this picture--a sure sign that it works as a photo! She's got bright eyes that are making great contact with the viewer.--emily

I really like this picture. I suppose if it were my work I might play around with the blur created by her glossed lips--I find myself wondering what it would look like if the lower white line was a tad less noticeable, but that's just me. Another thing I might try and bring out is that gorgeously done bun that is less noticeable due to the dark color behind her. Having said those things I should say again that as the picture stands--its wonderful. -Emily
