I just rechecked mine, you have to remove the rivets, on the name plate. Then you will see two screws that need to be removed. I threaded the rivet holes and used screws to remount the name plate. If you ever want to clean or take the side panels off, only the film advance and film release knob need to be removed. The film release knob screw is counter clockwise to un-screw it. The flash socket is not removed, but be careful of the flash sync wire connected to it.

I'll just have to put up with the dirt.
You must remove both side panels on your copy. Once the side panels are removed you can get the top off to clean and or change the focus screen.

I use PANF + 50 for portrait and I love it! No issues at all.

<p>We have 4 kids all boys, 13, 9, 4, and 2. Our 13 yr old is always a bit squirmy, I can work just fine with our 9 yr old, our 4 yr old is a dream to work with he gets into it. As for our 2 yr old, I would not even attempt it. I think it really depends a lot on the kid.<br /><br /><strong><em>camera - </em></strong>Deardorff 8x10<br /><em><strong>lens - </strong></em>Kodak Commercial Ektar 14"<br /><em><strong>film - </strong></em>Fomapan / ARISTA EDU ULTRA 100<br /><em><strong>tripod - </strong></em>Manfrotto 058B Triaut Camera Tripod<br /><br /><em><strong>Portrait of my Deardorff 8x10<br /><img src="https://c1.staticflickr.com/9/8850/17338007252_126af8ae03_z.jpg" alt="" width="427" height="640" /></strong></em><br>

When you zoom out to 35mm Is infinity focus correct?
When you zoom in to 70mm is infinity focus correct?
Or is infinity focus off at both?

<p>I have an Auto Coligon 28mm 2.8 prime lens (M42 mount). After a complete service performed early today, I must say that I was more than pleased with the results from this little prime. Focus is smoother than any of my Canon EF L lenses. Optics are take sharp, and it has a nice big 62mm filter thread.</p>

The site has been restored with Henry Taber’s integrity in mind. Still has that classic look.
