  1. Hi!

Dont know wheater you claim the negative was strange looking or the printed version of the cross processed slide. But you indicate "red, pink or dark red" though so Id suggest it is the look of the negative. Please find resume on this theory below.

Well, Im still absolutely (not even) new into this amazing sub-culture and without even tried it once I have scanned anywhere for info. Just about to buy a Diana and Lomo cameras where this kind of business probably suits the best.

However, Ive found tons of info and I can really recommend www.lomography.com where you will find relevant info upon color shifts for different films etc. Might take a while to find on this huge site but it is there...somewhere.

According to the info on this site, the Velvia "gives you that wild Fuji green-blue color shift that we absolutely love." Means, the Velvia you have developed looks as should, but inverted...red negative gives green positive etc etc.

Best practice for vivid colors and high contrast appears to be Kodak Elitechrome 100 Extra Color with a full spectra of colors, not only greeninsh, blueish, reddish etc etc.

GOOD LUCK! I wish myself the same... ;-)

  2. I have recently bought a new (used) medium format camera and have not yet

included a light meter to my gears so I am in urgent need of an alternative in

    the meantime.

Beside my Mamiya RZ67 Pro II I have a Nikon F80 with 50mm/1.8 normal lens. It

is of course possible to use this for metering but exactly how to get a

    correct exposure on the Mamiya?

Once deciding a correct exposure with Nikon F80-50/1.8 combination, how can I

transform the settings to the Mamiya? I use the Mamiya/Sekor 140mm/4.5 lens on

    my Mamiya.

Please, give me some hints! How must I think? For instance, what is the

corresponding shutter speed/aperture on the Mamiya at Nikon setting 1/180s and

    aperture set to 8?

    Thanks!
