    The Creek

A beauty, Mari. At first, I thought it was looking up at the sky -- but then, rocks... ! see this was from autumn... those lovely colors. I try to walk by a lake when I have enough energy and stare at the same, occasionally "disturbed" by a swan or duck
  4. Pnina, I don't know what is prompting this farewell and hope you reconsider. I've been mostly off- PN for a while, but just logged on and am stunned to see what you wrote above. You have helped me almost more than anyone on this site. I love looking at your work. It is so beautiful and soulful. As far as you living in a democratic country besieged with terrorism from the north and from the south, I stand firmly with you and the people of Israel who live have never been left to live in peace and security. You are a shining star.

    Rehearsal for Swan Lake

So adorable! I like her growing into grace with that bit of movement of her foot, positioning on the frame, the lines and contrast (to her) and grounding of backdrop
  6. Nice pic! Interesting that both Israel soldiers and the Arab on the right are looking on. Their smiles -- the soldier and the Arab youth -- join them like brothers. I'm very sorry that Israel seems to be under almost constant attack. My thoughts are with you and your family and all the innocents in the region.

    Mari, I adore this!
  8. Linda, they look so unified as one at first glance like a human butterfly. intriguing luminosity, lovely stance. I like the b&w, background, square framing filling the darkness with gossamer light Regards
  9. I've looked at this a few times. I love the openness and proportion of sky to water. It's lovely
  10. I like the play on names. The picture is eerie and sad, but documenting and expressing one's feelings are so important. Will Yad VaShem show this?
  11. A wonderful artistic expression of light and movement. They look sort of like the burning bush -- ablaze but not endangered or burning up. Just pure energy and vibrance... looking to the light... suggesting a macabre death light perhaps or otherworldliness
