  1. In the uk the books you use are relative to what area you are interested in at the time. The

only real reference material i used is listed above, then you would branch off into the area

you were studying. Studio for example.

Ways of seeing was a book we looked alot at, also alot of the books by liz wells. There more

    art theory/non technical.

As for actuall theory book if you tell me what area your interested in i can send you some

examples of what we used as reference material for it.

  2. Do a course to learn the basics, read as much as you can. Look at other peoples work, and

have an opinion on it and decide why you have that opinion eg. lighting, colour.......

Decide what area you want to go into, find photographers that interest you and bug them

untill they give you work experience. The most i have learnt has been trial and error, and

from asking people, work experience. Not from my degree. Although the paper does look

    good!

  3. "It might even work as a campaign photo for antidyslexicphobia." Best idea ive heard in ages!

Maybe i should be eating toffee with the dictionary upside down?

Thanks for every ones help so far. Liking alot of the ideas. I forgot to mention im a twin

which could be a part of it i guess.

  4. Well thanks for that. Im actually dyslexic and cant spell for toffee. And come to think of it

neither can most the professional photographers i have worked for. As for "future employers

of you are googling for anything you might have said in a public forum" i think they are not

stupid enough to think that just because a photographer has 'writers block' on a college

assignment they are not worth employing.

  5. Hi all.

i havt to produce 6 images on the theme of identity, but i seem to have a sudden mental block.

My usually overactive imagination has stopped working and my brain has turned to mush!

any links to some inspirational work linked to this theme or comments greatfully received.
