Looking to capture the warmth of the holidays. The picture in the

picture was color I washed it into B/W for effect. The book binder on

the right was placed there because my daughter and son-in law, who's

in the framed picture, are Pastors. This was a tribute to their and

my own faith. No flash, used a 30sec shutter speed, only the candle

was lit and a small night light to capture reflections in the

ornaments. Any comments would be greatly appreciated. Hope you like.

Excellent color saturation the lighting is subtle and just enough to give a calming, peaceful mood. I love how the richness of the purples and blues compliment each other throughout this picture. Thought this was interesting. I was shooting trying to capture the warmth of the holidays. The picture in the picture was color I washed into b/w for a contrasting effect. The title of the book on the right was purposly put in since both my daughter and her husband in the framed picture are Pastors and this represented their and my faith. Any comments, thoughts would be greatly appreciated. I used a 30sec. shutter speed release without a flash and only had the candle lit (seen in the picture) and a night light on across the room to capture reflections in the ornaments.
