  1. I've decided to get back into B&W work again, and am presently planning my bathroom darkroom. In order to save space, the idea of the Nova-style vertical processors is attractive, however, I'm less than thrilled with the price/construction quality of the Jobo/Nova offerings. Has anyone given any thought to building something similar from acrylic (without the temp control of course)?

My main questions are in the areas of side wall construction to keep the print from sticking, and supporting the prints. I was thinking of solvent welding some small rods to the sides, much like the ribs in a conventional tray, to solve the first problem. Using the Nova clips is an option, I guess, but has anyone come up with other ideas? Thanks

Oh, I should add that I build furniture as another hobby, so machining acrylic or Lexan is no problem for me.
