    Steve,

Protection Sport Association (PSA) is a form of dog training for police dogs, personal protection, family guard dogs & sport dogs, PSA holds competitive dog trials. This is one of the training exercises our dogs go through. It is funny because most people would not want to come anywhere near these dogs. However, they are such well behaved, loving dogs, most are also family pets!

    To answer your question Jan,

I get right up close & personal :-) Again, these dogs are super well trained. I was nervous at first but have since put my dog in training & I'm hooked. They go through extensive obediance training & are better behaved then most house dogs (if they have a good trainer). Check my page, there is a picture of a dog with a guy in a bite suite (the bad guy) jumping over her, her owner has giving her the command to stay & not bite. It's not a great shot unless you know what is going on.

So far all of my post are older pictures (little camera experience) I hope to have new & improved posts soon. Please continue to check my page & leave comments!

The specks are water drops but I agree they are distracting since you can't see what they are. Thanks for the comments

Thanks Jason, I appreciate the tips, up until recently I would just quick shoot anything I thought was cute or pretty or...

This picture is one of those quick shots. I hope to start posting pictures that are better in the tech dept. ;-) with some help from my new friends at PN!

THANKS! Juan, I love the crop. The water is part of the training, this was not staged. I have my dog in training at the same place so I'm always taking pictures out there. I'm posting a few more, please take the time to check them out. Sometimes it's hard to get good color or lighting, I have to just shoot when I can.

Thanks for the critiques, I agree about shooting more of the dog, the dog trainer asked me not to get the background behind the dog :-(

    I really appreciate the comments!
