Hi folks,
Have an old Schneider Angulon 90, and it is getting a little bit
sticky in the slow speeds...
I was wondering if anyone know where could I get it serviced here in
Australia, to get it Clean Lubricated and Checked/Adjusted...
I know the guys at SK Grimes in the US do a great job, but would
like to save the shipping costs if possible...
Hope any of the Aussie fellows here can provide a hint...

I've been working with B&W 4x5 for a number of years, but just
recently did my first incursion on printing bigger that 8x10 (at the
moment i'm trying 16x20).

What I've found, besides 16x20 being a completely different kind of
animal, is that once the print is complete and dryed, the amount of
curl it gets is simply horrible, making my prints almost unmountable
in a recular cornered mat.

Is dry mount my only option? or is the anything else I could do? I
would like to avoid buying a dry mount press and/or any other
equipment if at all possible.

Hope someone can give me some light on this...

Hi Pete,
Have tryed a couple of places around Australia and definitely the best option seems to be online order from vanbar (http://www.vanbar.com.au) as they have the best price and stock.

I think the Tachihara is also chinese. I own a Shen Hao and to be honest, is much better quality than the former.

Other way to work with HC110, if you use diluton B (which is the one i use) is mix the syrup directly 1:32 with water to get the working solution, this way I don't have to deal with half mixed bottles.

Hi Everybody,
I?m having trouble finding large format supplies in the Melbourne area
here in Australia and was wondering whether anyone could give any
pointers?
Have tried a couple of local photoshops but have not found any 4x5 BW

Hi...
If you are in the US Badger Graphics is a good option, they also carry some very affordable LF cameras...

Hi...
I´m moving to spain next year... I´ll like to know what fellow
photographers use for their 4x5 film out there...
Do you buy at stores or mail order?
Which films are available there in the 4x5 size?
Thanks guys....

I use a Shen-Hao for that purpose with no problem at all.... There is also the advantage of price ($625 new).

I have an Omega D2 enlarger I use for Large Format. It has a 150mm
Lens and a Cone Lens board.
Now I´m trying to enlarge 35mm and Medium Format, so I bougth a flat
lens board and a took a 50mm lens from an old Durst 35mm Only
enlarger.
The problem, is that when I focus with the lens near the negative, i
get dark areas near the corners...
Would someone coment on the possible cause/solution for this
problem????
Thanks in advance..

I own a Bronica ETR that i use with a Sunpak 544 thrisistor, it uses a PC cord conection, so would work on your Bronica S2 too..
It attaches to the tripod mount, and has (sort of) a ligth meter that adjust the flash power.
Costs near 200$.
