I find it very challenging to create humour in a photograph. This one makes me smile! Well done! - Scott

Stunning image. There are so many things happening on a diagonal here, that it can't help but create excitement. Then I see the large plane is behind a crane, then the distant plane far above it, then the nearby construction elevator, and the three of them balance each other well in the composition. Excellent use of contrast, darks and lights. An exciting, dynamic photograph! Excellent!

Wow! Stunning colour, layout, concept. Extremely well done!

Petr, I love this photo. The lighting is beautiful, and the cropping works well. The only changes I would make would be to apply a bit of straightening or perspective correction, so that the left wall has the same angle as the right wall, and after straightening I'd crop the left side a little, so that the side of the left wall facing us is the same width as that on the right wall. I think if the angles of the two walls were symmetrical, it'd make the image even stronger. Awesome work though! You're fortunate to live in a place with such beautiful architecture. Well done!
Cheers,
Scott.

I think the way you cranked up the saturation on this makes it all the more interesting. I'm also really interested in the amount of open sky you left above the roofline. I think it works very well, as it puts the center of the diamond formed by the roofline close to the 1/3 mark. Well done!

This is probably my favourite from your portfolio. The positions of the hands, with one higher than the other, creates a dynamic feel to the photo. You can just feel that she is about to start her sewing. It's a very tricky lighting situation, with full sunlight and dark shadow, but you've managed to handle it well. Cheers! - Scott Henderson

Being from Alberta, this shot is especially inspirational for me. I agree with some of the comments on polarization and adjusting some of the levels, but that aside, it's still a stunning shot! I also appreciate the story behind the photograph, as it helps put us there with you. Beautiful!

An amazing subject, with excellent technique! I love the colors! They have just the right amount of saturation to make them very painterly. Stunning!

Spectacular! The lighting is perfect! The rocks in the foreground (both on the surface and submerged) work very well to add interest to the shot. 7/7!

At first I didn't see it, but now that you've mentioned it I see it. I also noticed that the dark curving rock face on the very right side of the frame looks like a a couple of faces in profile. The upper 1/2 looks like Abe Lincoln, and then Lincoln's chin becomes the nose of a stylized face with a large protruding chin (Jay Leno maybe?)
This reminds me of those pen and ink drawing where they hide objects in the picture... like a pair of scissors in the bark of a tree, etc. It'd be fun to try and do something like that photographically.
Thanks for pointing out the skull... I hadn't noticed it otherwise.
Cheers,
Scott

I love how the fireworks balance the city lights to the right. It can be difficult to time these sorts of shots well... you've captured just the right amount of fireworks here. Well done!

I love how the shape of the river takes your eye into the frame. I also think the rafters really contribute to the shot, as they help convey just how deep this gorge is, and how large the trees are. Nicely done!

I'd love to hear comments / suggestions from anyone. This image is a
composite of two different exposures.
Thanks,
Scott.
