I just had some Ektachrome 120 slide film processed by my local lab. All of the shots came out fine except for the following. I was wondering if anyone can tell me what happened with these? Was it my camera or the processing. If it was the processing, I will discuss with the lab but want to have somne ideas of what it could be. Thanks in advance for all your help.

Thanks for the response! I was aware of the film counter issue, but that is not exactly what I'm experiencing. Once I fire the shutter, I have to pull the shutter release button back up to operate the film advance lever for the next shot. I have put a roll of film through the camera and it came out great. I was just wondering if I keep doing this will it cause any more harm to the camera. I have heard that these cameras are notoriously difficult to work on and wanted to avoid doing that if not really necessary.

I just bought for $30, a Kodak Retina IIIc with the wideangle and telephoto lenses in their cases. The person I purchased the camera from stated that the film advance lever would not return when operated and this is why he was selling the camera so cheap. The camera appears to be in very good condition otherwise, and the other lenses appear to be mint. Anyway, when I got the camera I found that if before taking a shot I gently pull up on the shutter release button, the film advance works just fine. Would this create a problem further down the road if I keep doing this? Or is this something that will eventually become a bigger problem? Thanks in advance for any help!

I am getting ready to send my Yashica Mat to Mark Hama for repairs. He wants the serial number of the camera on the repair form. Where do I find this number? There is number on the WLF, or is it the number on the taking lense? Thanks for all your help in advance.

I just got a Voigtlander Vito CL for the princely sum of $16.00. It is in amazing condition and included a flash gun that
uses bulbs. What I was wondering, is it possible to use an electronic flash with this camera?

Thanks for all the assistance! I will be sending the camera back to KEH for the 2nd time. When I bought the camera, the 1st one they sent was totally dead, the battery indicator would not even light up. So this one is a replacement, and it has problems also. Hopefully my luck will change.

Apparently I then have a lens problem. I took the back off, and set the shutter
speed to 4 sec. The shutter never opened. The battery indicator says the battery is
ok. I tried a different battery just to be sure. Would this also effect the flash sync
with the camera? Flash will not work with a sync cord or mounted on the
speedgrip. I bought the camera from KEH and it was listed as a bargain grade.

I hope someone here can help, as I am getting rather frustrated. I have a recently
acquired ETRSi. I have run 3 rolls of film through it and I only get an image on the
1st frame. The rest of the roll is blank. I have followed the instaructions carefully on
loading film. When I remove the film, it is on the bottom roll as it is supposed to
be. Is this a film back problem, a shutter problem or user error. Thanks in advance
for any assistance.

I am a beginner photographer and it's just a hobby, so please forgive my
ignorance. I recently acquired a Bronica ETRSi with a speedgrip. The hotshoe on
the speedgrip is dead. I know that I can use a PC cord to attach my flash. What I
was planning was to use another frame I have that has a cold shoe and attach the
flash that way. I am unsure of what type of PC cord to look for? The flash is a
Quantaray with a Nikon module. I am assuming that I will need something to
attach the cord to for the flash as there is no way to attach any cord to the flash
now. Thanks in advance for any help.

I feel very fortunate after reading about the costs some folks are dealing with for 120 processing. Here in Ft. Worth, I can take my 120 film to Arlington camera and they will process it for $2.99, same day service. This is processing only, no prints.

I am a very amateur photographer who is currently in a big learning mode. I am
going to be photographing a stage play at my son's school. It is a reading of
a play, so there will be little or no movement on stage, basically a spot
light going from one seated actor to another. I am going to be using my Nikon
D50 with a 70-210mm zoom without flash. It will be on a tripod. I know I will
be using manual exposure and f-stop settings, at F4 for this lense. My
question is about what ISO to set the camera at? Do I push it all the way to
1600 or just try it at different settings? Thanks in advance for all the help
the board has given me.

I just picked up a Nikon FG which had just been CLA with a 50mm 1:1.8 Series E for $52 on E-Bay. There are bargains out there.

Thanks for all the advice!! Hopefully I will be able to get some great pics on my trip. I am only going to be there for 3 days on a business trip, but hopefully will have time to get out some. I am going to Corpus Christi

I am an amateur photographer and will be going to the Texas gulf coast next
week and plan on taking a lot of seaside and beach pictures. My question is,
are there any precautions I should take with my camera and lenses as far a sea
spray, salt and sand goes, other than being very careful when changing lenses
and such. I will using both Nikon film and digital cameras.
Thanks
