Hi,
Was wondering if anyone can help explain something about commercial digital
prints? Having only gone digital last year, this has never been an issue before,
but I'm mounting some prints for an Exhibition, & want to get my technical terms
right.... I took my digital files to a commercial lab for some big prints. I
have been told they are 'Silver halide photos with a laser exposure'...what
exactly is this process? is it also called RA-4? What's the difference between
my print and a C-Type? Basically, i need to state the process/type of print with
the edition information...
Any light shed on this will be a real help...i can't seem to find a straight
forward answer!
Many Thanks in advance!

i bought my first Dslr a few months ago & i chose a d50. it's a great price for what you get, the layout of the screen, dials etc is very logical and straightforward so for a beginner i would highly recommend it!

i have a nikon d50 & i just bought an af 85mm f1.8 lens (nikkor)
the problem i have is that the camera only works at f16. if i set the lens to
any other aperture i get the fEE error code where the aperture would normally be
displayed. anybody know why this is? i was told the lens was compatible, is it a
setting that i've got wrong? is it not a fully compatible lens?
any help would be appreciated!
