  1. This is not the sort of shot I normally take but am quite pleased with it in terms of exposure

and light. I have done nothing with it except use Alien Skin Exposure to convert to Fuji Velvia

    100.

    Thanks for looking.

    foot in cafe

          1

This was a lady sitting opposite me in a cafe. Her foot just caught

my attention. It was one of those massively swollen ankles that only

old ladies have with a big bandage and shoes slightly too small.

For better detail see larger version.

    Thanks for looking.

Had to take this couples potrait as they were so English. Posted a B & W uncropped copy

earlier but have now cropped it to a slightly more appealing shape. Have also kept in colour

as I felt their clothes were part of them and they needed to be seen.

    Thanks for looking.

I walked by this couple and it turned out they were waiting for a taxi. I stopped turned

around and asked them if they would mind me taking their picture. They seemed to

epitomize the old English couple. He apologized for forgetting to put his teeth in but were

very happy to have their picture taken.

    Bikes on a balcony

I love to find things like this. It just captures the way we live. I

can't imagine these bikes every being used they are so hard to get to.

Just another space filled with things we will never use.

I've put this in street as it was taken from the street whilst wandering the backstreets of the

Willesden area of London. Wasn't quite sure where else to put it either. I like the simplicity

of the picture. The starkness and beauty of the magpie against the early morning sky.

Would be grateful for your thoughts.

this is an abandoned factory nr. witney in Oxfordshire. Lots of

climbing over fences to get in, but what a great site - felt like a

    bombed kosovo!

    Thanks for looking.

    the van

love the lines in this shot. Telegraph poles going up, lamps coming out, the horizontal lines of the van and boxes, the building on the left going back across the image and then cutting across the image the ray of sunshine. Fabulous.

Thank you for the feedback. It may well come up too light. One of my last forum posts was re: calibration as I have had problems. How do other users pics look on your computer - tending on the light side or are they generally ok?

    Thanks again.

  2. The blue sky in Marrakech is incredible. Obvisouly this has a polarizer in use, but the true

colours that you get are incredible. I love the contrast of the green, sand and blue in this.

Thank you for looking. (this is the medina wall that encircles the old town of Marrakech - it

goes for about 16km all around - quite amazing).
