  1. On a recently submitted image ,had three comments, all with ,"unblock " after their names, but none of them would

accept a reply & their was no window at the bottom to to enter a reply. ( this is now the same with all of my

images Clicked on the window near the top allowing to enter a critique & received the following message,"We had a

problem processing your entry. The owner has indicated that he does not want your critique" I have done no such

thing, do not know how & In would never think of doing it. The whole idea of Photo.Net is to submit your images

for comments good or bad & always welcome suggestions Hope this problem can be resolved-Regards-Ross

  2. BOB- I have no problem downloading these files to other sites We know these files are OK..However Photo.Net will not accept them. I do not understand their error message,_"Back up your browser & correct the problem" Back up to what? Have no idea what the problem is. They say it is a data problem. Where is the data problem.,. I have no idea & it would not matter, I have no idea how to correct it, I'm not a tech person. Regards-Ross
  3. Hi Bob-We know more than before: The 6d creates good & properly constructed files with trouble free handling except in one case, downloading files to Photo. NET .Have never had problems with any of my different cameras The only thing that has changed now is my new camera ,& the old firmware version of 2.0.3 has been replaced with version 1.0.3.Could this possibly be a factor-Ross
  4. HI GARY_Thanks for your interest.I transfer the images from the camera to Photoshop Elements 10 & after processing create a jpg file & transfer to a separate file.Normally I would then transfer individual images to Photo.Net .. Photo. Net refused to accept the image with this message,"We had a problem, processing your image. There was a problem with the data base". Canon maintains there is no data base in the camera. Is not all the exposure info attached to each image before leaving the camera & could this not be where the problem originates..Hope my problem is clear now. Regards-Ross
  5. Photo.Net will not accept images from my Canon EOS 6D Digital camera while accepting images submitted with my

Canon EOS 7D camera. To me, this indicates a problem with the 6D camera but Canon insists the problem lies

elsewhere.Has anyone else had this problem. Thanks Regards ROSS

  6. Dieter & Fred-Thanks for taking the time to reply to my request.. Fred -Seems like a lot of work, maybe I will decide when the number of viewers stops ,It will mean my image has had its time in the sun. Thanks again-Ross
  7. Thanks for your interest in my problem but I do not believe any of the suggestions apply to this particular case What happens when I open ,"single photo uploader", the uploader page appears but there is no response when I click on the browse window & it will not accept any input. Sorry for the late response but have been out of town for the last few days.Regards Ross
  8. Thanks everyone for taking the time to post their thoughts on my question.I do know it is my intention to upgrade to the D5. have becom quite adapt at picking out full frame images in photo magazines. With the Xmas gift season approaching Dec would be a good time for it's release. Also a large retailer in our district has reduced prices twice in the last two months which is kind of odd with the Xmas season fast approaching. Thanks again for your comments-Ross
  9. Am hesitating in taking the plunge into the full frame world with Canon's 5D Mark 11.Reviewing the specs show that my

50D has cross type focusing elements whereas the 5D is away behind current practice.Exposure control is identical in

    in both 50D & 5D

Now comes along the D7.with superior focusing & exposure control & I can not help thinking how good the 5D would be

with the D7 focusing & exposure control.

5D was upgraded in Dec. 2008, any thoughts on when the next upgrade will occur

Expect there are numerous photographers experiencing the same hesitation in taking the big step into full frame

    imaging.
