    These small plants are often overlooked. Take a look at the beautiful shapes of the

    liver-formed "leaves" and small 'gemma cups', that are for asexual reproduction. Liverworts were once used in treating diseases of the liver because of their form.

    I like color-version more. (nice discussion... "I like this... I like that..." :) ) In B&W you do not see the reflections and you miss the contrast in colors that make this picture even more special.

    Very beautiful picture! Your whole portfolio is a real inspiration to me. You wrote in your biography you photograph nature more with an artistic point of view, which I think you really do and have an eye for! Keep shooting :)

    Beautiful composition. The rock really draws you into the picture towards the island... The colors and stillness of the water sort of make me feel the silence during winter in that place.
