Where the Carpathian mountains meet the River Danube ther are some

wonderful gorges. This is a rock formation in the limestone. I hope

you like it - monochrome seems to add to its impact.

The most common of plants is surely one of the most beautiful too.

This is the Dorset and Somerset Air Ambulance, or rather the old one,

as it has just been replaced by a new one. I was pleased to photograph

this one before it went out of service.

I captured this moment of tranquility, with the reflection of the sun

in the water. It looks such a peaceful location, but in fact, all

around were people; visitors to the historic city of Bruges. I hope

you like this one.

This fantastic line of trees was seen in Bruges in Belgium. What

things they must have seen - if only they could talk! I hope you like

this one.

A very nice photo - the depth of field works very well. A little more shine in the eye would have been nice, but I guess that's nature photography!

I like the way the spires converge to some point in space far above,

I altered this photo so it looked like an old tinted engraving, which

seems appropriate for this old medieval city. The stronger orange

canopy and the bistro sign give a reminder that this is in the present

Nice photo Martin. Just one point - although the Magister is a French built aircraft, this one is from the Belgian Air Force.

The colour of the sea was amazing!

I like this photo very much - the relections of the boat in the water and the misty background suggest peace and stillness - the blurred images of the birds suggest movement. A nice combination, well done, Colin
