The comment by Benjamin Chase is totally inappropriate. Although it's understandable that some people may not prefer nudity, anyone who automatically links all nudity with pornography or obscenity has a mental problem or phobia. There's nothing sexual whatsoever going on between the mother and her son in this image. I think the image is wonderful and quite naturally beautiful!

  1. I'm a fan of Escher, and that's exactly my thought of your photo before I saw your title. Good lighting. The model's remnant of an arm is a bit distracting. Also, I'm not sure what the tattoo and ankle bracelet add to the photo; I would have not included them (make-up over the tattoo). A great concept of an image.

A nice photo but what makes it less appealing to me is that too many distractions compete for attention. Also, I'm just trying to be helpful, but placing the model square center in the photograph gives it much more of an amateurish look. I'd like to see more depth with shadows and have more light fall upon her face. A hair light would add quite a bit, as well.
  2. Superb use of light. Also, I find this model's figure much, much more appealing than fake breasts mounted painfully over ribs with barely any skin covering them. The only suggestion I'd make is to move the model just slightly off-center, but other than that, it's a beautiful photo!
  3. Hello Victor Vasarely! Seriously, I thought of his early zebra drawings/paintings when I first espied this shot. The effect of the striped, curvy model with long flowing locks against the white background is so simple and well, so simply spectacular. I wouldn't expose it any different or have either the model or the light placed any differently. Great job.
  4. The placement of the model is very appealing. The lighting is simply enviable, and it's clear that the photographer has a firm grasp on lighting. To me, the model's ravishing hair really makes this photo. The beautiful curves of her waves mimic the curves of her body. I'm not sure how the pose would look, but I'd like to see the crease gone or at least diminished between her hip and thigh. Fantastic shot.
  5. The first thought that came to mind when I saw this image is: this is a perfect example of how to tell what a natural breast looks like! The bottom of the breast is curved, as you would expect, yet the bottom of the breast does not "attach" so far underneath the breast, like an implant would. Also, what's important is the top of the breast is not round at all but rather slightly concave. An implant is nearly perfectly round, and a tell-tale sign of them is the perfect roundness of the silicone, and the breast doesn't flow with the body but instead looks like a round disc "glued" onto the chest.

Back to this photo: the silhouette is gorgeous next to the gently highlighted other breast. The image overall is clever and visually quite appealing.

  6. The lighting is wonderful and produces lovely, warm curves on the model's body. Also, you can see her beautiful, real breasts as they simply "fit" her body. I like just a portion of her face showing so that we can see she has a face yet the face doesn't upstage the torso. The placement of the body is good. Many shots like this are perfectly centered, which somehow isn't as appealing.

I don't view this as porn at all. Nudity has the ability to communicate many feelings -- eroticism is just one aspect. I find this a nice contrast between the model's smooth, "young" skin and the rock's rough "old" age. Her hair is blown out slightly in just a perfect manner. I do notice that the top half of the photo has a slightly different color than the bottom. Both the rock and her calves/feet seem cooler in tone than the warmer top half. The pose is very good, though I'd like to see her right (on our left) foot not quite so flexed so it looks more relaxed. All in all, a very lovely image. What I especially love is its timelessness. There are no fads like funky hairdos, body piercings, invasive tattoos, or other distractions which give away the time period. Except for the color, this photo could be 50 or 80 years old or it could be 50 or 80 years in the future! Very cool.

Well, you've managed to melt my heart. A big, strong, pair of masculine arms enveloping a tiny, fraile human being is simply one of the most beautiful sights to me. I can't imagine how difficult it might be to light and expose the man's darker skin, but you've done a remarkable job of it.
  7. I agree completely with Vance. The shot could have been great, but the implant is like a baseball "glued" onto the body. In my opinion, it isn't attractive and gives a freakish appearance to the body. The first impression of the photo is this gigantic silicon ball being hurled at the viewer.
  8. The background is very distracting to me. It's almost as if the ledge is an arrow shooting through the model's head. I'd pull the model farther away from the background and create a shallow depth-of-field. There isn't much contrast in the photo, but it's basically well-exposed. The earring seems a bit out of place since the implication is that she's just come out of the shower. However, the model has a beautiful body which I'd love to see used in other creative endeavors.

The concept is very good. However, the colors just don't work for me. The model has very delicately light skin and ravishingly beautiful hair, yet neither is complimented by the color of the sheet. Also, her leg seems to split the photo in two at about half way up vertically, which is a bit of a distraction.

The cigarette is a perfect touch: a filthy habit for a filthy body. She's making the inside of her body as dirty as the outside. Sure, the image is disturbing, and my impression is that it is supposed to be; thus, it's a highly effective image. The lighting works well.
  9. I read this differently. It looks like a study in grotesqueness. Her feet are painfully positioned. Her fake breasts stand out uncomfortably in contrast of her skeleton ready to pierce the skin just below the implants and just to picture left of between her legs. The hair covering her face almost suggests that her head is on backwards. Her body and the way it's posed is truly a study of the unnatural. The stark wall holding her up lends its voice, as well.
  10. Overall, a lovely effect. The model is well-lighted and the background doesn't compete for attention. However, I would have had the model cover the splotch on her leg with make-up; it detracts from the photo.

Intriguing with an old-time look as the background and the model's face is like a ghost with a split lip, as if she's haunting the image. The lighting works very well with this.
  11. I am really shocked that the woman's ribs are being perceived as attractive or "toned." The model does possess lovely legs but those ribs sticking out are not feminine, beautiful, or healthy-looking at all. Sometimes, of course, when a model lies back, especially with her back arched, the ribs will become visible. However, the image does not convey one of health or beauty at all. I'm quite sad that others perceive it as such. Encouragement only encourages models to starve themselves.

Beautiful concept. The only problem is that the female form has a very undefined waist, and since she's closer to the camera than the man is, she actually looks larger than he is.

The lines in her skin look unnatural. It appears that her clothing was worn skin-tight. I'd suggest waiting a longer length of time between when she disrobes and when you take the photo.

The contrast of light is simply superb. The image seems to be divided into thirds. The bottom is a crude, tattered form. The middle is a very sensual and soft form, and the top is a rather stark face with cropped hair. Visually, the image is appealing because the eye is drawn to all thirds: quite a feat!
