A story!!! I usually don't like over processed images but I think it works very well here. Correction, it absolutely works here. The subject and composition are outstanding to begin with. Congratulations of a great image.

I like it. Good B&W tones and the subject/composition are very interesting for the eye.

That is an amazing photo!!! Technically Perfect. This is a still image but it is alive!!! The movement of the birds is great. Congrats on a great photo!

Very good portrait. I like the selective focus on the face, the B&W tones are perfect and you have a very interesting character for a subject.
Well done!

Great B&W photo. I love the composition and the power that the image projects in the waterfall. Very good clarity and B&W tones.
Not sure what happened to the sky. It looks like a gradient where each shade is a separate band. Is it my monitor? Is that just because of low resolutions on the web?
Sill love the photo. Congrats!

I think this is one of my better shots of the Grand Canyon. There are other
shots in the same folder.
Which do you like?

How is the composition on this photo? Is the B & W tonality ok? Any
constructive suggestions would be welcome.

John, After this many years on Photo.net posting amazing shots, I don't think anyone doubts your talent and skills.
Today I must give you a different comment; you have the most beautiful and interesting models. This is a compliment to the models and to you that you can find them.
Always happy to see more photos from you.

Thanks Larry! I will go back at some point and hope to get some better angles. This was taken from the walking path. I was lucky to get a beautiful day.

Comments of any kind are appreciated.

Fabulous colors and reflection! Wonderful.

I love the lines, all drawing the eye into the image. I think it is a great shot.

Thanks Richard! I had a great time there, but not as a photographer. I am also not very happy with my shots.
We were there on a family vacation an did not have that much time. This canyon can only be accessed while on a tour. The regular tour does not allow tripods. They have a photographers tour that does, but that will have to wait for next time.No Tripod, higher ISO hence the graininess of the photo. Not too bad for handheld (supported on a rock).

Very difficult lighting. How did I do?

Hours and hours of painful work with a glue gun. Those pistachios are really hard to glue down.
And getting the store keeper to sleep sideways was also a bit of a challenge. He kept nodding off.
But it was all worth it just to get your comment on Photo.net!!!
Now I'll have to leave this one here for posterity and upload another that is facing the right way. -
It is a very good capture. Personally, I think it would look better without the vignette edges.

Any comments are appreciated.

I have been looking through your portfolio a bit. Your images show very good technical range. Somehow I was very drawn to this image. There is no doubt that the tonality is perfect, as mentioned above, but that is not the essence of this picture. You took a photograph of a very pleasing scene and have successfully conveyed that to the viewer, usually the real scene is prettier than the image, but this image is aesthetically beautiful.
But it goes deeper than that. This image is emotional.

Are you sure you name is not Salvador Dali?? The Salvador Dali of Photographers!! Great work.

Perfect timing on the walking man just beyond the main part of the illustration. Intriguing. Very original.
