As a pilot I can relate to this picture. At least you know your number 1 engine is running/prop's turning, the nacelle is dry and secure and there's land in sight. A picture tells a thousand words and this is a great example! In terms of the picture itself, I like the colors and the Caribbean clouds over the water. -
The colors are rich. I like how you took a picture of a simple object and made the picture with the light behind & around it. -

I'm interested in everything in this picture from the rock in the foreground, to the people on the shores, the river, city & sky... I also like the effect of the glow of the sun over the city to the right and the increasingly darkening skies to the left. Furthermore, B&W is classic, but it's not the gospel...I like the color; it works for the mood this image creates.

I love how you have evenly distributed the Earth, Sky & Land in this picture. The sun coming through the clouds is just the icing on this beautiful cake. Nice job.
