1.
I did wonder that but I think I mostly shot on Green Box that day (my very first film... Ah memories!)
It probably is that, but was confused because the sea is very brightly lit in the centre, but I just suppose that's because there was such a huge concentration of light on that area.

 2.
I shot this photo on a sunny day (which was both clear and overcast throughout the day but I'm sure it was clear when I took it), with my EOS 1000FN and a Sigma 35-70mm, on some basic Kodak film. I'm wondering how on earth this effect was achieved as I really have no idea...

 3.
I was just wondering, with the 400D's 27 jpeg limit on continuous shooting, why is it that I've recorded over 50 continuous shots before with my 400D? Is this merely because the memory card was accepting the images quickly enough to just keep shooting?
Cheers,
Elliot.

 4.
Thanks for the help people :)
Maybe I'll (instead of spending that extra £100) get the 450D w/kit with the spare money then? What do you think?
Also how does the 1000D compare to the 450D and the Sony in the opinions of the Photo.net people?
Cheers
Elliot.

 5.
Wow that photo's amazing! What lens were you using for that? It's brilliant!
It's occurred to me I've lied through my teeth here by saying 350D when actually, I've purchased the 400D. Now I have to ask what people's opinions are on THAT!
As for lenses: I currently have the 50mm 1.8F and a Sigma 35-80 4/5.6F, plus the kit lens that's coming with it, which is the 18-55mm 3.5/5.6F.
Sorry for being officially retarded.
Elliot.

 6.
Ok so I've stopped pussy footing around spending an unnecessary amount on cameras I don't REALLY need (EOS 600, Pentax P30, Lenses, Flashes, anything which catches my eye on eBay because I'm reckless), and bought myself a DSLR. Almost. And with this in mind I wonder if you folk can tell me anything about the Canon 350D kit I've just bought, for £200 brand new? Silver I realise is less popular, but I don't care so I wonder if there's anything else to know in advance before I return to Jessops and cough up the money.
Cheers.
Elliot.
And no, I can't really afford more for the 1000D etc., this was a naughty purchase!

 7.
Hi all,
Just wondering whether anyone can recommend me a set of filters to use for my EOS 1000FN for different situations. I want a small range that will cover a variety of situations, and I'm not really sure what to use myself, so I thought I'd ask the venerable folk at photo.net
Cheers,
Elliot.

 8.
Hi all,
Sorry for the pun in the subject, but I'm mainly wondering (not for myself, just out of curiosity - I'm not a good photographer), how it's possible to turn photos into cash? I know friends whose photos could have come straight off of posters/out of books etc. etc. and wondering if these people would be able to get these photos onto products etc. and make money.
Also, photos of famous landmarks obviously make good postcards, and I wondered if there has ever been a market in these kinds of photos.
Cheers
Elliot.

 9.
Cool these were all really useful :) Cheers
I keep making posts complaining that my cheap-ass buys aren't going to work, but I'm more worried about it buggering my camera... So I bought a P30 for £15 instead.
I shouldn't be allowed near eBay officially.
How did the photos turn out Nicholas? It sounds like a fun idea...

 10.
It's just occurred to me that I didn't state that I wanted larger rolls. Hence I now just look like I can't read. If it's going to be shooting 5fps then something along the lines of the 120 exposures would do me (though less could be fine).
