I did exactly what you are going to do with the D200, using 18-200, 3.5. I was allowed to use a 12 foot ladder in front of the stage (10 rows back) and got some wonderful pictures. I also went above the stage on the catwalk and shot some great pics as well.
Have fun

Hi Jan,
My dad just gave me his Retina that he bought in Germany in the early 1950's. He has the manual, I need to get it. Do you need a copy if I scan it?
I have taken my camera to the top of Mt. Washington in the middle of January, -10F I have used the plastic zip lock bag and it worked very well. I would agree with the advice of not keeping the camera close to your body as condensation can occur. It did not happen with my camera, but did happen with one of our hikers goggles. He kept them close to his body which then created condensation when he went to use them. They froze over and he could not see.

I would think he would be embarrassed to submit these photos as a professional. Did you check with the local BBB to see if there is a history of complaints? BTW..very pretty bride!

I have had the same problem with my 18-200 3.5 a few times. It stops focusing in the middle of a shoot. Even the manual focusing does not work. I have taken it off the camera and remounted it, removed the battery, eventually it starts to work. I am not sure what causes it or what resets it. VERY FRUSTRATING!!!!
