1.
I'm piloting an online photography school.

I need motivated, committed students of any level to help test the syllabus, in return they will receive the lessons free of charge. However, I would prefer student's whose aim is to pursue photography as a component of their career.

The amount of time that I intend to spent teaching will be one hour per student per week private chat, I have created a website to facilitate this. This website will only be accessible to students and will provide a forum for discussion and feedback. I will be online as much as I can and available for open chat at other times. I hope students will have some new images to post at least once a fortnight, and that they will contribute to discussion on the site more frequently than that.

As for minimum camera requirements - there are none, beyond having a functioning camera.

The teaching will be project-based, student-centred and goal-oriented. This will mean that to get a lot out, you will need to put a lot in.

A selection of my images can be seen at:

http://www.flickr.com/photos/peter_dixie/

For more information please send me mail at peterdixie1947[at]yahoo.co.uk.

00SNwN-108825884.jpg.ca07413d75b9c8d9e71cc8aa332666dd.jpg

  2. I've recently moved to China where film availability is rather limited.

I would for preference use Portra 160NC for 4x5 work, but unfortunately this

    is unavailable.

The choice of films available to me in 4x5 is:

    Fuji RDPIII

    Kodak EPP

    Kodak E100G

    Kodak E100VS

My question is which of these will give me the closest look to Portra 160NC?

As I shoot primarily landscapes long exposure times are not a problem.

Any suggestions will be most gratefully received.
