Although cropped well, I would prefer to see the feet not cropped out for the poor fellow having the tail feathers nagged off of him.

What a great find! And both insects, right down to the antennae are in focus. The background is a bit distracting, depending on your audience. Maybe crop the image to get in tighter on the 'love bugs'?

Lovely. Nice tone, disorienting (in a good makes you pay attention way) perspective and I have no idea why, but it reminds me of Niepce's first permanent photo.

I want to thank everyone who has taken the time to give such detailed critiques. They are all very helpful and informative.
I usually don't lean towards the over-the-top digitalization, but I just liked how it worked with this particular image. I think that I achieved this look by just playing with the Match Color/neutralize adjustment.
No, this is not a self-portrait. I am kinda afraid of those. I prefer to live on the other side of the lens ;)
Please keep the comments comin'!

I am busily teaching myself how to use Photoshop and would like some input on my results.
This picture is from a recent set with a friend. She is a musician and needed pictures for her
website and potentially future promotional material.
Any advice/criticism (constructive) on composition, processing, ect. is greatly appreciated.
Thank you

Captivating and beautiful! I love how the stars come through and the positioning of the wind turbine.
