You can see that the bird on the right looks to have a rather empty

looking depression in the crop area while the one on the left looks

noticeably full.

The mother bird dropped a medium size bird which was immediately set

upon by the one on the left. Angry bird was a little late. It carried

on like this for a good hour and didn't sound happy.

Thanks for the story Steve.  While I found humor in the nagging anyway, knowing what happened is better.

Although cropped well, I would prefer to see the feet not cropped out for the poor fellow having the tail feathers nagged off of him.

About the crop; Brandi, I fully agree but this was nearly full frame so I was stuck having the "glutton" footless.   The advantage  of the close encounter was a nicely detailed portrait as seen in the adjacent image.
