You can almost feel the texture of the feathers.

Very nice portfolio, and this is my favorite. Nice light just falling on the bed. Great wood grain.

Taken around 1909 by my great-grandmother.

Nice idea. The backlight appears a bit strong.

A photo from the 1920s taken by my great-grandmother. I found this
one interesting because it is different from the typical family
picture I have seen from that time period. Their friendship really
came out to me.

1920s family photo of my great-aunt and her friends around wheat
sheaves waiting to be gathered for the thrasher.

I sharpened it up a bit but the negative was in very good condition. I used a scanner that had a backlight in the lid.
The rest of the old photos in my portfolio were all found in the same box in the attic of my great-grandparent's home. I was surprised that they did so well in the heat and cold cycles of Indiana. The home sits on the family farm that has been in the family since the 1820s. I do have a few farm photos in my portfolio as well. I hope you enjoy them as much as I have.
Thanks for looking.

This was a great catch by my daughter. I really like the way the
butterfly color and pattern matches the other flowers center. What
do you think? How could my daughter make it better?

I really like the way the light shines through the wings.

Feedback always welcome. This picture was taken in the gardens of

This was taken sometime in the 1930s. Does anyone know what type of
bomber this is or the site. The photo was taken by my great-
grandfather.
