I'm pretty much with Warren on this one Tore. Pretty sizzling ... Now on a technical note I like the lighting setup on this one.

Just another outstanding piece of work Tore. Your portraiture once again compliments the beauty of your model. She should have this one framed in a large format and hung (preferably in my office .. laughing). Just beautiful work. Best Regards!

Joanie .. I think this is a beautiful picture and I find the model not only elegant and pretty but seductive and yet leisurely at the same time. I agree with some of what the previous critique suggests but the only two "main" things I would personally do is add a fill light or reflector on the weaker lit side to add a second catch light in her eye and also and more importantly take some of the harsh shadows such as you see extending from her nose. You can tweak other items but I like the shot a lot. Best regards.

I like the overall look and feel of the portrait. I'd love to know your technique for post processing if you'd have a moment to share it (xray4u@cox.net). It has that Dave Hill look to it which I would love to replicate. This is probably one of the closest works to his that I've come across. Great work!

Outstanding work Marc and very well thought out and executed. Not only do I appreciate the beauty of this work but I think it is marveleous that you share your technique and technical factors to educate us. Something I'd love to see more of on here. This (and your whole portfolio) is just "brilliant".

I am personally very fond of "low key" work where shadows offer a certain "mystique" if you will. This is somewhat of a low key presentation and I just love the overall charm, elogance, and look that you have presented through your lighting setup. I love the clarity in her eyes as well. Just really a great overall work Tore. Oh did I mention as an added bonus that you have a lovely model? :-)

John this is very nice. I like the pose, the lighting, and certainly the model. It just really caught my eye and I'm glad I took a closer look. Keep posting more.

Wow Martin ... this is just incredible stuff! I thought your mallards were great but then you go and out perform even them with these Canadians. The colors are perfect. Get this one framed!

This is an absolutely beautiful portrait shot with wonderful colors. I'd love to see this side by side with one the way it is and then one with eyes toward camera with face up a bit. Either way this is near perfect in my opinion. Great capture.

I agree with the previous comments. Reminds me of a painting one might see in a museum or above a distinguished fireplace. Sort of like a Renoit or a Van Gogh. An absolutly wonderful capture and great post processing make this extraordinaire. Very well done Ellen. Very well indeed.
